This event celebrates peace and is held to bring harmony, as well as forgiveness to all people who participate.  The eating of the strawberries promotes peace and allows the person to give thanks to the Creator for the peace in their hearts.

This will be a potluck event. This Nikkomo is all about sharing, loving and forgiveness, so bring a dish and/or dessert to share.

The tribe will provide the Strawberries and Strawberry drink.

Also, there will be the following activites taking place at the festival, which are as follows:

*Dancing *Naming Ceremony

*Story Telling *Strawberries

*Strawberries and *more strawberries

Don't forget to bring your Lawn Chairs for comfort.  Please invite your family, friends, and neighbors, but most of all let us all have a good time sharing each other's company.

Presented below, is a short audio clip from Princess Redwing of the Seven Cresents regarding her telling about the festival from an interview with University of Florida Professor John Cech, for the PBS Recess program.
